If you are out and about all day and only want to use the room for sleeping and showering, you don't need a ballroom as a room, do you? This fine Souterrain room is fully equipped. Think of a lovely box-spring bed, flat-screen TV and a bathroom with shower. Room sizes can range from 9m2 to 16m2. Some rooms are partly below street level and can only be reached by stairs.

Very nice hotel

This location works well for us, because our son lives nearby. The area is pleasant, not busy or noisy, and it is an easy tram ride from Amsterdam Centraal Station. The hotel is clean and pleasant and the staff are friendly and helpful. The dining room is has a particularly lovely outlook and is a relaxing place to have breakfast and to start the day.

Great hotel!

Very comfortable beds and room well equipped, but can get very warm. It’s a shame the bar wasn’t open as it looked great. Didn’t understand why it wasn’t.

Lovely Hotel

Nice sized room. Fabulous shower. Great coffee machine. Comfortable bed. Few stairs. Lovely garden & close to the zoo & plenty places for food/drink. Nice helpful staff.

Spring Break

Very nice hotel, opposite The Holocaust Museum and the Zoo, about a pleasant twenty minute walk from the main centre but the no.14 tram stopped practically over the road which went right through the centre to the main Train Station. Pleasant helpful staff. Nice rooms. Could maybe do with somewhere to hang the towels after use and a plug for the hairdryer near to the mirror. Lovely soft pillows. Nice breakfast room with a mainly continental breakfast but plenty of choice. Lovely pastries and real orange juice. Only thing missing was a toaster. The bar was not open at all during our stay so there was nowhere to get a drink or food, we were told it was being renovated but it looked perfectly fine with no work going on, it was just closed. This would have been lovely after a long day out. Would only stay again if there was a bar and restaurant available.

Lovely Budget Hotel

Had a really nice time here. Room was clean, bathroom was modern and lovely. Water was hot and pressure was good. It was quiet and comfy.
