Very nice hotel in a great location.

The Lancaster Hotel was walking distance to many key attractions in Amsterdam. The area was quiet and very close to the zoo. Since it was also close to the university, the location had a number of very reasonably priced restaurants within walking distance. We had great pizza, tasty Japanese food and awesome Chinese food, all within a short walk of the hotel. Hop-on-hop-off bus and boat were within a 10 minute walk.
