- Can I store my luggage with you before or after my visit?
Absolutely — we’ve got a luggage room where you can store your suitcases for free.
- Can I bring my pet along?
Sure! Your pet is very welcome at The Lancaster upon request. We do however ask for a small supplement of €20 per pet a day. Please contact our hotel if you want to bring your pet along.
- Can I dine at the hotel?
Everyday we serve a delicious and honest breakfast, according to the Dutch Cuisine principles. Enjoy a good start of your day with fresh, healthy and local products!
For dinner, you can temporarily visit the pop-up of the internationally renowned restaurant NENI.
- Is the hotel accessible for disabled people?
All floors in the hotel can be reached by lift. We have 1 disabled room in the hotel. Please contact the reception for the possibilities.
- Can I rent a bicycle at The Lancaster Hotel Amsterdam?
Discover the beautiful surroundings of Amsterdam by bike. The costs are €16 per 24 hours or €12 per 3 hours.
- As of what age can I book a room?
Eden Hotels has clear rules for making a reservation and minimum age. You must be at least 18 years old to make a booking and stay at our hotels without a parent or guardian.
- Can I pay securely online?
You pay securely with credit card or IDEAL via our secure payment link when making your booking online.
- Why do I receive a payment request by email?
When you have made a reservation that requires advance payment, you will receive an email from us with a payment link. When the payment is made, your reservation is confirmed immediately! Click here for more information.
- What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in starts at 15:00. Should you arrive earlier than that, we will do our best to get your room ready as quickly as possible. However, we cannot guarantee that we will have a room ready before that time. If you do need to wait to check in, feel free to store your suitcases in our luggage room. You can check out until noon. If you’d like to stay in your room longer, please let reception know. For late check-outs, we charge an additional cost of € 15 per hour up to 14:00. If you’d like to keep your room after 14:00, we’ll charge you for an extra night.
- Can I smoke in my room?
Smoking is not permitted anywhere in the hotel. If you do smoke in your room, we will charge a fine of € 150. Covering or sabotaging the smoke alarm in the room will incur a € 500 fine.
- Is there free Wi-Fi available at the hotel?
Absolutely! And the good thing, you do not need a code, just accept the conditions and you're online.
- Can I park at the hotel?

- Can I change or cancel my reservation?
If you have booked directly through one of our websites, you can change or cancel your reservation here. To change or cancel your reservation you will be asked for the e-mail address with which the reservation was made and the reservation number. The reservation number can be found in the reservation confirmation that you received from us. For all other bookings you need to contact the travel agent.
- Can I book several rooms at once?
Of course you can. From 8 rooms or more belonging to one group, booked separately or through one group reservation, special group conditions always apply. Please contact the hotel's reservation department to agree on these, so that there are no surprises.
