Stay in Amsterdam
It was alright, it is 20min walk from the city and there are some good food options nearby like box social is a must try! But was a little upset with the housekeeping, definitely could have been better.
Great choice for our stay in Amsterdam
We just wanted to thank the staff at The Lancaster for being so friendly and helpful. We arrived very early off of a flight the first morning of our stay and we were very tired. The staff went out of their way to ready the room so we could get checked in and rest before we went out to see the city. Every interaction with staff was positive and helpful and the rooms were super clean, comfortable and just right for us for this stay. Thank you! Leslie Croy, Iowa, USA
Weekend Break for the Light Festival
Really impressed with the hotel, there was a few reviews that worried my wife but I can honestly say we had a really lovely modern room and it was exceptional value in comparison to the other hotels in the area. I will be staying in this hotel when I return to Amsterdam. The staff were really friendly and helpful I would happily recommend.
The Lancaster Hotel is a nice place to stay. I stayed for 3 nights and I’m glad I booked in this place. It’s really easy to access, 20min on foot to be in the city centre or you can take the tram. Also, this hotel is in a quiet area which let you sleep peaceful but the walls are quite fine so don’t not be surprised to hear people early in the morning in the hallway especially if you aren’t a morning person... I’m a bit disappointed about my room. I booked a room and requested a double bed but the room I got was with 2 twin beds, I came with my partner and it’s a bit frustrated to not be able to share a bed with the person you love...
Paid for a double bed, instead I got two single beds
I paid £200 for a room with a double bed, instead got two very uncomfortable single beds.Very disappointed as this is not what is described on their website. The Room was ok, good was good as well, but it’s just not worth it if you can’t sleep at night.
